In the YO Lounge today the YO’s had their first committee Assembly and Election. The YO Committee is now made up of the following elected members. The SOE2017 Congress officially opened today. The SOE President, Jan Tjeerd de Faber welcomed everyone to Barcelona and highlighted the importance in this digital age for people to meet face to face and make new friends whilst sharing information during the Congress. The SOE Board meeting took place on Friday 9th June at the CCIB Barcelona ahead of the SOE2017 Congress. Board members gathered from the 44 National societies to discuss the society and share ideas for the future. The SOE President warmly welcomed the SOE members and was grateful for their discussion and ideas.
