YO Mini-Exchange

 

 

 

 

Radka Pontoppidan-Toms is an ophthalmologist with a special interest in the anterior segment, and is a member of the SOE YO committee responsible for the coordination of the SOE YO National Representatives.

At SOE YO, we aim to give our fellow YOs an opportunity to experience different medical systems and ophthalmic care in different parts of Europe.

Therefore, the SOE YO has set up a “Mini-exchange” program during the recent SOE2017 at Barcelona. 14 pairs of YOs applied and agreed to host each other for 3 days in their respective countries and work places.

We hope this unique experience will bring our YOs the opportunity to broaden their horizons and a chance to expose themselves to different culture and medical care.
