The Ophthalmologicum Balticum XV Forum was held in Riga, Latvia from August 19 – 21. Organised by the Prof Guna Laganovska, the SOE Latvian Board Member, the Forum attracted 400 delegates. The second GOS/SOE joint meeting took place in June, 10-13th in Tbilisi,Georgia, with delegates from 16 countries participating. The meeting covered topics on modern approaches and new frontiers in medical and surgical profiles in ophthalmology.
