SOE Lecture – The Netherlands

SOE President Jan Tjeerd de Faber presented Manon Van Hecke the SOE Lecture diploma at the Netherlands national meeting. Manon Van Hecke was awarded the diploma for her lecture ‘naar een hogere specificiteit voor automatische screening op diabetische retinopathie’ translated ‘ A higher specificity for automatic screening for diabetic retinopathy’.

SOE Lectures were implemented after the SOE  2005 Council meeting when members agreed that a special SOE Lecture should be presented at each European Ophthalmological Society annual meeting to a promising clinician or researcher.
