Tinatin Kazaishvili, Grant Report

During 3 week period in July, 2024 I had the incredible opportunity to spend time in Augenklinik der Techn. Universität, Dresden, Germany. The clinic for ophthalmology represents the entire spectrum of the field of ophthalmology, allowing me to participate in patient care and learn about the diagnostic methods and management of various eye conditions from every subspecialty. My focus on anterior segment surgery has led me to spend the majority of my time learning about and attending various advanced anterior segment operations and specialized corneal consultations. I am deeply grateful to my mentor, Professor Dr. F. Raiskup, for providing me with this valuable experience.
