Dr. Anastaziia Zubrytska, Ukraine, observership report Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your support in organizing my observership in Dublin under the supervision of David Keegan.

This experience was truly invaluable for my professional development. During my time in Dublin, I had the opportunity to observe advanced vitreoretinal surgical procedures, gain insight into clinical decision-making, and learn from a highly experienced and supportive team. The exposure to a high-standard European clinical environment has significantly broadened my perspective as an ophthalmologist.

I am especially grateful for the warm welcome and mentorship I received, which made this observership both educational and inspiring. The knowledge and skills I gained will directly influence my daily practice, particularly in managing complex retinal and trauma cases.

Upon returning to Ukraine, where I am currently working in an emergency ophthalmology setting, I am already applying what I have learned. This experience has strengthened my confidence and motivation to continue improving my surgical skills and contribute to the development of ophthalmic care in my country.

Thank you once again for making this opportunity possible. I truly appreciate your support and dedication to advancing ophthalmology through education and international collaboration.
