Givi Tskhadadze, Georgia observership report from Cochin Hospital, Paris France

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your support in organizing my observership in Paris, Cochin Hospital under the supervision of Prof. Monet.
This experience was truly invaluable for my professional development. During my time in Paris, I had the opportunity to observe advanced refractive surgical procedures, gain insight into clinical decision-making and learn from a highly experienced and supportive team. The exposure to a high-standard European clinical environment has significantly broadened my perspective as an ophthalmic surgeon.
Upon returning to Tbilisi, where I am currently working, I am already applying what I have learned. This experience has strengthened my confidence and motivation to continue improving my surgical skills and contribute to the development of ophthalmic care in my country.
Beyond the clinical experience I also appreciated the atmosphere filled with discussions and willingness to share knowledge. I am thankful to the European Society of Ophthalmology for this opportunity to experience both the professional and cultural environment of France.
