This issue extensively covers the ICO Annual Conference in Galway, which once again achieved record attendance for three days of outstanding scientific education, professional collaboration and opportunities to network with colleagues and friends.

There was a distinguished line-up of international guest speakers, including Professor Keith Barton from Moorfields who delivered this year’s Annual Mooney Lecture, Prof. Uday Devgan (The Cataract Coach), Prof. Alvin Young from the Chinese University of Hong Kong; and Mr Jimmy Uddin, Moorfields London alongside our experts from home.
