Maryna Karliychuk, Observership report Switzerland

First of all, I would like to thank SOE and Professor Dr. Dr. Med. Daniel Barthelmes – the Director of the Department of Ophthalmology, University Hospital Zurich and Chair of Ophthalmology, University of Zurich – for the opportunity of this observership program, which was very valuable and useful for my improvement as a teacher and as a vitreoretinal surgeon.I must say that the entire clinic staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the opportunity to attend consultations of Ieading doctors and their surgeries. I really liked the way of work with residents and junior doctors was organized: morning reports, analysis of clinical cases, complications, lectures. I consider myself very fortunate to have seen excellent vitreoretinal surgery and also had the opportunity to meet and communicate with excellent vitreoretinal surgeons. Thanks to all of them.
