I am very grateful to the European Society of Ophthalmology and every member of the Ophthalmology Department at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital for the extraordinary opportunity to be a part of the great team supervised by Prof. Bahram Bodaghi.

I spent 3 months studying intraocular inflammation and neuro-ophthalmology. The schedule was well organized and I had a plenty of time to observe the organization of the hospital, to learn how to deal with challenging cases, and to make professional contacts.

Moreover, I also benefited from educational opportunities including access to teaching sessions, staff meetings, multidisciplinary meetings with internists and rheumatologists.

I would like to mention wonderful sessions on angiography (both fluorescein and indocyanine green) with Dr. Celine Terrada. Issues that we discussed are very useful in daily uveitis practice.

In conclusion, if you like uveitis and if you want to widen your knowledge and skills in uveitis management, take my advice: learn French and go to Pitié-Salpêtrière.

I would highly recommend this world class centre to all my European colleagues!
