Dear Colleagues and Friends,
we are glad to share with you the last update about the forthcoming 2nd DIGITAL SOI CONGRESS that will be held from Thursday, November 26th to Sunday, November 29th.
During these difficult times, we are more than pleased to announce that we will provide FREE ACCESS to the virtual congress to all our international colleagues in order to share the latest best updates in ophthalmology. Thanks to this initiative of the Italian Society of Ophthalmology you will be able to join the congress simply accessing the following link: FREE REGISTRATION 2° DIGITAL SOI CONGRESS 2020
Founded in 1869, in 2019 SOI has celebrated the 150th Anniversary. It is a legally recognized non-profit Moral Entity, point of reference for the more than 7,000 Italian ophthalmologists and one of the oldest Scientific Societies in Europe that to date counts more than 4,600 Members.
We therefore kept the planned Scientific Program but we have transformed it into a virtual event and we have also postponed the scheduling by one day beginning on Thursday and ending on Sunday.
This restyling of the format provides us with an exceptional opportunity to include in our congress more colleagues and to provide with extensive access to our scientific contents and professional updating resources.
The Main Sessions will be equipped with a channel dedicated to the simultaneous translation Italian/English during all meeting days. We would like to highlight the scheduling on Saturday and Sunday of three Live Surgery Sessions managed by SOI, technically the most advanced and effective organization in Ophthalmology.
A not-to-miss event is the Session 8 dedicated to Covid-19 and scheduled for Saturday, November 28th from 01.00pm to 2.30pm:
Please check the Program of all Sessions with Italian/English simultaneous translation available
I look forward to you joining us at our special virtual event and discovering together the ‘new frontiers’ in science and patient care that are at the heart of our common mission!
