Joint SOE EuLDP AAO LDP / PAAO Curso Module San Francisco 16 -18 January

The Joint SOE EuLDP AAO LDP/PAAO Curso module took place in San Francisco from 16 – 18 January 2015.

Participants attending, shared in a wide range of sessions including  a dynamic talk held by David Batstone PhD, the founder and President of the organisation ‘Not For Sale’, who has worked against human trafficking over the last 10 years. The talk looked at core values and strengths in  leadership. Ethics and Conflicts of interest was presented by Christie Mores, MD who is the Chair of AAO Ethics Committee.

This was followed by ‘Effective Negotiation Strategies’ presented by William  Lloyd MD and Stephanie Marioneaux, MD discussed media and press relations in  a talk entitled ‘Get your message across’. Other key sessions looked at Political Advocacy, The International Community, and skills in presentation and communication.
