Anahit Zhamharyan, Armenia, observership report from CHU Saint-Piere, Belgium, Brussels

I would like to thank the SOE organisation for this opportunity to be selected  for the SOE grant and have a chance to participate in the observership program at the CHU Saint-Piere Hospital in Brussels, Belgium.

I spent  two weeks with an amazing team of  ophthalmologists and plastic surgeons. The staff were very friendly and supportive. I had a chance to observe patients during consultations and also participate during operations which were  related to blepharoplasty, ptosis reconstruction,  eyelid tumour excisions, ectropion surgery and etc.

I would like to keep connections with our international colleagues and have a chance to  visit the Saint-Piere clinic once more in the future.
