They have released a summary of the EURETINA congress:

As a YO, I would recommend the EURETINA 2021/2022 Mentorship Programme, which you are free to apply to today.

Prof. Anat Loewenstein: “The idea of the mentorship programme is to help young retinal specialists advance in their academic career. It is very much in line with the aims of EURETINA to be an educational source and resource for young retinal physicians. We have a very structured programme to help them achieve that.”

I learnt so much from this congress! The first day included talks on challenging retinal cases and AMD, focusing on diagnostics, guidelines and decision-making when treating the patients. I found the RETINAWS session to be one of the highlights of the conference. It included interesting and well-presented cases by vitreoretinal surgeons.

I am looking forward to the next EURETINA 2022 Congress in Hamburg.

All sessions will be available for the conference attendees until the 31st of October 2021!
